World Cavity Free Future Day

14 Oct, 2024 Global

World Cavity-Free Future (WCFF) Day is a global awareness day. It is run by the Alliance for a Cavity-Free Future (ACFF). Its mission is to increase awareness of tooth decay. Tooth decay is the most common chronic disease on the planet even though the disease can often be prevented.

The 2024 WCFF Day Campaign is highlighting the importance of brushing your teeth. Brushing teeth is important throughout life to make sure people prevent tooth decay as much as possible.

A good toothbrushing routine is important to care for your oral health at home in between check-ups at the dentist. Starting the right habits from an early age can help to set children up for good toothbrushing habits for the rest of their life.

Learn more about WCFF Day history, the 2024 Campaign and access its resources here.
